Summer 2013

Above you see a failed photo-shoot in Spain, where I spent some of the happiest days this year. I was lucky enough to enjoy traveling through my second homeland with friends. Three weeks under the southern sky, camping, visiting my grandmother in Madrid, feeling free and - lets admit - very warm (a thing I enjoy a LOT).

Madrid!
Now take a look at our car on the first day of the journey! And after everyone bought souveniers I was the one doing the jigsaw to put everything back inside. It was crammed full of our stuff and now I am known as the Car-Trunk-Queen!

Along our journey we past a beautiful spanish villages called "Santo Domingo de Silos", famous for its monastery. It is in the middle of huge and wonderful virgin landscapes. At night you saw so many stars, you could distinguish the milky way - the view was insane! I never behold something comparable! I wish I could have taken a photo, but my camera was probably buried in the car trunk that night. Here is a picture I made in broad daylight instead.

Most of the holidays we spent in a little town at the seaside. The beach was just a 2 minute walk away from our camping and the sunsets you could admire there were just amazing!

Sadly I will have to face the fact that summer is over. At least here in Germany!
I already miss the hot sun. Drying my hair outside...

I leave you for now with another shot showing the beauty of Madrid!

Southside Festival 2013

Above you can see Jesus! We met him! And he was telling us about the curing powers of beer!
Where did we met him? Well, we went to the Southside Festival!!!

A cousin of mine is part of a band that was headlining the festival and he really got us FOUR free tickets!
I was so grateful, I promised him 300 bottles of holy beer, but I think I will only be able to bring him 3 to spain this summer (because I am going on a vacation wuuhuuuu - more on this topic soon!)

The concerts we went to (Gogol  Bordello, Frank Turner, Irie Revoltes, SKA-P and a few more) were AMAZING!
I had a great time and I am going to remember the whole festival with the dearest feelings!

We had luck with the weather in general, very hot by day - but unfortunately icy in the afternoon.

Our camping neighbors were throwing steaks through the whole camping area
Ever seen so many people in a car this size?
I was laughing so loud that every one passing by had - at least - to smile ;)
watching the clouds passing by totally relaxed

The beautiful Lake Constance!

It feels like ages I haven't posted anything on my blog and actually it is nearly half a year. I feel sorry for that, because I missed it all the time, but this past six months have been so crazy for me -
I fell in love with my studies, with a lot of new people I met here and with a neighbor of mine in particular. The first month was like I couldn't be any happier, but actually not any more stressed either from all the fun things I was doing. Then I got really sick and it took me quite a long time to recover.

In the break between my first and second semester my beloved neighbor took me to "Konstanz", in order to relax and recover from some hard exam weeks. We had three great days at the lake constance although the weather was very german (grey and rainy and brrrrrr).

We also visited the Napoleon museum nearby in Switzerland. I loved it. It is a beautiful little palace and the interior its kept mostly like Hortense de Beauharnais and her son Louis Napoleon established it.

The view from the little mountain this palace is on, is just amazing!

The secondhand Shops I found in Constance were quite boring and expensive if you ask me.
(PS: But last month I got some really cool antique stuff from a nice lady I sadly never got to meet, more on that in my next post ;) )

Our Hotel was very great! The people there were extremely friendly and recommended us the best Chinese restaurant in the city! If you ever go to Constance then sleep here and eat here ;)

In a week university starts again. Hopefully I will manage to attend studies, my blog, fun and friends in a more balanced way this semester.

I leave you now with a few photos from the trip and I hope to see you around here next time I post something, which will be soon!

Liebe Grüße!!
Eure Luna :)
